I know a place that has some really cool hair falls made of yarn or you can do the dreadlock ones also. I bought some fairy hair from her and she does custom work so you can tell her what colors you want and she will do all sorts of interesting things! She does belly dancing hair and mermaid hair. if this is what you mean, it looks like any type of yarn will do. JoAnns or Michaels will have a enormous selection. And select Walmarts will have an aisle in their craft section. I’d say go for ‘Red Saver’ or any other completely synthetic yarn like acrylic. It’ll probably last longer and you’ll get more ‘bang’ for your buck.
