Quality Belly Dancing Costume
Question:
Where can I get a quality belly dancing costume at a decent price? I am looking for a belly dancing costume, in a royal blue or lime green with silver coins – would like to find a set with a long skirt and a halter style top. found a website called missbellydance.com, but can’t find exactly what i am looking for – any help?? thanks!!

ok i know everyone says this but…EBAY BABY!!! its amazing! but if u dont have time or cant find something try a local renissance faire (if u have them), a halloween costume shop or maybe an exotic lingere store because one where i live has some hip skirts with coins & stuff…hope i helped
Whenever I need to find Belly Dancing accesories, I usually go to E-Bay. They have lots of things that are pretty cheap. It’s hard to tell the quality, though.
How soon do you need this? If you have a while, maybe you could go to a store. Check any that have ‘exotic middle eastern’ stuff. Sometimes they have belly dancing stuff, sometimes not.
If all else fails and you’re really desperate, you could go somewhere where there’s belly dancers performing. Usually they have kiosks around there selling accessories and costumes.

I have some dance friends who have had bad experiences buying costumes on eBay, so I haven’t used eBay for costumes myself. I’m fortunate that I live close enough to Scheherezade Imports to go there in person for her big sales and try on costumes and get some great deals on costumes that fit really well.
