Top For Belly Dance Costume That Covers Belly

A reader asks…

Okay, so during the Halloween season I work at a haunted house. Normally I use a costume they give me, but this year I want to make my own. I’m work as a vampire, and I wanted to go for a belly dancer look, since I’ve been belly dancing for two years.

Problem is, I have to cover my midriff. I can assemble everything else, but I need a top that covers my stomach, but still allows me to move around the way I want to and make it visible.

The costume I am putting together will be a sort of gothic/tribal fusion outfit. Lots of jingles, arm accessories, hair accessories, stuff like that. I just need to find a good top.

Anybody have any suggestions on where I might find one, or even just pictures I can use to sew my own top?

Thanks!
And by “covers midriff”, I mean actually COVERS it. Not some string that hangs over.
